Companies that are diverse and inclusive at all levels of the hierarchy have been found to be more innovative, agile, and resilient.  Recent McKinsey findings confirm that, when it comes to profitability, diverse leadership teams outperform their less diverse peers.

In addition to the positive impact on a business’ bottom-line, they also found that the more slowly an organization moves towards being truly diverse, the more difficult real progress becomes; customer’s perceptions, as well as those of the existing workforce, may be negatively impacted; attracting new talent may become more difficult because many of today’s workers – especially younger workers – see diversity as a necessary component of a desirable workplace.
