In your professional and personal life, problems that persist are a valuable source of feedback. Yet, we often ignore the opportunity they present. Instead of looking within for solutions, we tend to look outside of ourselves for someone or something to blame.

When you hear yourself thinking or saying, “They started this. It’s not my fault. I don’t want it to be this way,” you’re sucked into the blame game. Even if you’re not the one who started the problem, you’re now part of the chain. Your attitudes, actions and reactions fuel its continuance. You become an active sustainer of its life force.

A useful strategy is to break the chain by letting go of blame. Instead, think and act as if your mindsets and responses are the problem. End the futile blame game and empower yourself to search for solutions.
