Happiness Is In the Heart
“Happiness is in the heart, not in the circumstances.” I found that quote inside the wrapper of a miniature Dove Caramel & Milk Chocolate candy.
I read it once, and then again, “Happiness is in the heart, not in the circumstances.” So true. Think about it. Those who are happy show up that way almost no matter what is going on. Their joy is genuine and independent of the behavior of others or the presence of particular conditions.
Observing them, it seems they don’t let things bother them. If they can fix an issue they do. If they can’t they don’t dwell on it. They look for the bright side of situations. They engage openly with others, laughing and smiling easily. Nothing keeps them down for long.
At work and at home, happiness is an attitude worth cultivating. You’ll feel satisfied and secure.
