Getting It Done
It’s the end of quarter AND the end of the year. If you’re feeling under pressure to get it all done, you’re not alone. Most of us are walking around with the physical or e-version of long lists. We want to wrap up loose ends, clear the slate, and prepare for a fresh start in the new year. If you can get it all done, great! You have my admiration.
For most of us, our TO DO list is overwhelmingly long. We can die trying to get it all done, or we can sort and decide. Through my sorting and deciding, I plan to begin with end-of-year 2015 urgent and important items. Once I clear them out, if time remains, I’ll shift my focus to my top priority for 2016 and see what headway I can make. I’m letting go of all nice-to-do items and busywork. Then, I’m going to relax and enjoy some time off.
Don’t be held hostage by your TO DO list. Be reasonable. Get done what you can, and then get out there and enjoy yourself!
