It’s About More Than Loving Your Job

We seldom use the word “love” in the workplace. But in its broader meaning, the word is very fitting.  When we operate from love, at home, at work or as we move about the world, we show up as unique and special. We more easily find ways to handle situations and identify solutions that work for the greater good of all stakeholders.

When we consciously choose to operate from a place of love, we are relaxed, creative, confident and generative. We treat everyone with respect. Teamwork and inclusion come more naturally when we stop seeing every one and every thing as a threat. We give our best to whomever we’re with and whatever we’re doing.  And best of all, we feel better — happier and less stressed.

Nelson Mandela once said, “People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally.” Do what is most natural. Spread love at home, in your community and in your workplace.
