Although some travelers who disconnected experienced anxiety when they weren’t able to e-communicate or access navigation apps, the vast majority of those who embraced a tech-free vacation reported being much more attentive and focused on their surroundings without the distractions of incoming messages, notifications or alerts from mobile apps.  Nearly all who disconnected reported being more engaged with locals and other travellers.
