In addition to airing these reports on KYW Newsradio, they’re also posted as podcasts.  As the year wraps up, I’d like to share the hottest Office Talk topics for 2019.

The number one podcast was “When Is It Time to Stop Emailing and Call?”  Email can be efficient, but sometimes it slows progress, creates confusion and overwhelm. Could this signal the re-emergence of the voice-to-voice phone call?  

The second most popular Office Talk report was “How to Keep Managers from Burning Out.”  High expectations and rapid change may be taking their toll.

The third most listened to report was “When Stretch Goals Are No Longer Stretch Goals.”  My sense is this buzz term is becoming overused and diluted, or it could be that when everything is a stretch goal, nothing is.
