George Bernard Shaw once said, “Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.

As hard as change can be, it is necessary IF you want to grow, or at least remain relevant. Even if you want to stay where you are until you retire, changes in your industry and job responsibilities are inevitable.

If you actively seek to effect personal, professional or even social change, you may need to start by changing the way you see yourself and the situation. Open your mind to other points of view. Appreciate the relevance and value of other perspectives. Relinquish the stuck, stale energy of the status quo. Open your mind and heart. Embrace change and progress toward the new.

To feel alive, we have to change and make progress. We become more and can inspire positive change in others when we expand our own range of experiences and reservoir of knowledge.
