Facebook’s COO, Sheryl Sandberg, in her best-selling book, a TED Talk and her women’s empowerment movement tells women to “Lean In.”
Sam Horn, author, keynote speaker and intrigue expert, takes it a step further. She says, “step up.” Be less demur. Speak up. Value what you have to contribute. Take a bold, brave step and share your wisdom about what you’ve learned, observed and accomplished.
She says, “We do not serve when we step back — lessons-learned locked in our heads help no one.”
This Women’s History Month, and every day, lean in, stand up and step up. As Sam Horn says, “share what you’ve learned — not out of arrogance…out of service.”
