Lifelong learning is an important way to stay relevant, marketable and innovative.  Success.com asked members of its Young Entrepreneur Council what they do to engage in lifelong learning outside the traditional classroom setting.  Here’s are answers from three of them.

  • Travel.  There’s no better way to embrace new ideas and educate yourself than by exploring new places, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures.
  • Share knowledge with others.  Teaching others can teach you new things.  It tests your knowledge and forces you to seek answers to surprising question.  It creates discussions that tap into areas you might not have thought of previously.
  • Hang out with people who have curious minds.  Seek out people who discuss deep topics.  If your peers focus more on social gossip, find another circle of friends who enjoy discussing ideas.
