How do you feel when someone says to you, “I have a question for you?”  Do you say, “YES!,” with great excitement and anticipation?  Or, do you feel a little anxious, perhaps defensive, concerned about whether you know the answer?

Many people feel more comfortable with answers than they do questions. They prefer the knowing over uncertainty.

What if you begin to think of questions as valuable tools can help you and your team be more effective?  After all, questions are the basis of new discoveries.  Questions have led to advancements in every field of endeavor.  What might a well-placed question do for your business?

Try it out.  Ask questions.  Then, put the talents of your team to work on finding answers.  Good questions give answers a reason to exist.
